A beautiful time on the lake today......

Today was a picture perfect day on the lake. My sister Candy, and my nephew, Brendan are also picture perfect here, in my most humble opinion.
Joshua and little Jason on the tube. This little guy is fearless. Actually, he looked kind of fearful here. Josh was trying to comfort him. He liked it overall...just didn't want to be moving!
Brian and Brendan flipping off the tube. They truly had a blast!
Joshua wakeboarding.
Candy and Jason on the wave runners. I hope these pictures can show you a little bit of the fun we had together. It really was a fun day.
Good night, and God bless you!

Friday Night Lights!

East Ridge Knights 35 ~ Eustis Panthers 7

We won! Yea! And my sister & brother-in-law were there with their great camera so we have some much better pictures! Josh is #82. Waiting on the sidelines while an injured player was being tended to.

At the beginning of each game, they lift their helmets!

The cutest little cousins are looking on. They love to find where he is on the field at all times. The littlest one, Jason, will yell "Josheeeeeee" the whole time!
I'm fairly certain he knew the camera was on him at this moment...what do you think? He apparently was hamming it up!
And finally, Jason got to see his big cousin! Brendan and Jason absolutely love this guy! They hang on his every word. I have to tell you I was pretty proud when he gave them affection in front of a whole crowd of people irregardless of who was watching. Hugs and kisses were still doled out!
So our Friday night game was a good one for East Ridge! And an even better one for our family :) Blessings to all. Good night!

Sowing Seeds of Love & Friendship Rose

If you have stopped by, will you please pick up this beautiful award and this beautiful friendship rose. They were gifts from my sweet blogging sisters, Jill and Peggy, and I would love to pass them to you.

Do you know how much you are loved? John 3:16 tells us "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life". Amen!! Jesus loves you so much so let's be faithful servants and love one another.

Proverbs 16:1-3 "The preparations of the heart belong to man, But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the spirits. Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established."

A Perfect Blend of Friendship Award

My friend, Kim, gave me this lovely award this morning. She has become my bloggin buddy, and I do consider her my friend. This is a lovely award. It encompasses those things that are important to true friendship and I can't wait to sit down and share a cup of something warm and creamy with her one day!

Now this award isn't just any award, it comes with a questionnaire. Here goes:

1. Do you have the same friends since childhood? Some. A lot of my childhood friends were my cousins. I have a very large family and dozens of first cousins. I also have a lot of friends from high school in Texas. We keep in touch frequently via the internet and letters and Christmas cards.

2. What do you value most about your friends? Sincerity.

3. Are your friends your sounding boards? Maybe when I was younger. And maybe every now and then now. But for the most part, I have learned to take everything to the cross and if I truly can't leave things there, I bring them to my beloved and he walks me back to the cross and helps me to nail whatever is burdening me there once and for all.

4. What is your favorite activity to share with your friends? Going to the movies or going out to dinner or going out in the boat. Boating is probably the best time with friends as there is so much laughter!

Now to pass this on to five friends.........

Jill @ Forever n Ever n Always. She just touches my heart. We have immediately connected and have many things in common. I truly can see her and I holding those steamy cups too one day.

Stephanie @ My Sacrifice of Praise. I have known Stephanie a long time. She is a true friend. She and I have actually held those steamy cups together when we both used to live in Vero Beach together. Though we are apart, we are always close through our bonds as sisters in Christ.

Leslie @ Do You Weary Like I Do. Leslie and I have sons the same age and what can I say about a girl that loves to go to football games with her guys like I do? She is a treasure. She writes as if she's been peeking in my windows! Good stuff there!

Mimi @ He & Me + 3. Mimi confirmed that she is my long lost twin with her top ten list this morning. Honestly, she is a sweet sister and it has been my joy to get to know her in this bloggy world. I look forward to her smile.

Denise @ Shortybears Place. Denise never fails to leave an encouraging word. She will sometimes drop me an email to say she has just prayed for me. I am thankful for that. I know she doesn't live in Florida but one day she and I will be feasting at the banqueting table together.

You know, I could go on and on about some more fabulous sisters out there that have become my bloggy friends. The rules say five...so theres my five. I'm so glad that tomorrow is Sherry's "You've been a friend" Wednesday, so I'm looking forward to honoring more friends.

Happy Tuesday ladies. May the Lord bless you today!
