Today is Blue Monday and I'm linking up with SmilingSally to splash some blue your way! I was sent these pictures and was just in awe of the blue. We are also studying Genesis in church and it is just so amazing to me that God spoke it all into existence. I hope you enjoy the blue here today. The Lord sure blessed me with it!!

IT'S KNIGHTS TIME!!! WOO HOO

Well, it's finally here! The season opener is tonight! Friday night lights!! This is Josh representing!! He is #82 again and his official height is 6'5" and he is weighing in at 172. It truly doesn't matter how many protein shakes he drinks....we can't keep weight on him! lol

I caught him doing some chores.........he always has his music on while doing chores. Always smiling!!

Now about that always smiling remark............now he knows I'm taking his picture and it's all serious! You know...game face! What is it about game face and having to be serious? That in itself cracks me up!

To all of those parents who have boys and girls playing sports....I wish you a great season filled with lots of fun! I wish you a season injury free (always an important thing to add for us). May the Lord watch over you and your children and may the memories be joyous!

Thankful Thursday

Today is Thankful Thursday and I haven't posted a thankful post in so long I don't even know who is hosting it. Please forgive me for not linking appropriately and just know that I thank whoever our hostess is but feel compelled to say "thank you" to the Lord first and foremost for sending me the most amazing man!

Yes, this man. Jason Carlton. My Jake Monster. My Jay. I woke up again with a terrible migraine and do you know how I was greeted? I was greeted with my medication and a glass of water and a prayer being said over me. Followed by a bowl of hot oatmeal. So far I can't stop the tears which is not helping the migraine but I asked him this question "How do you put up with this from me?" And his reply was this...."In sickness and in health". He said it with such sincerity, such love, such compassion. I can only thank God that he is the man that is tending to me during this time in my life.

So...I am thankful to the Lord who take the two and make them one. And even through hardship His scarlet chord has twined them together so tightly that they remain. I'm sorry, my emotional state just won't let me say more. I hope you all take the time to love on your beloved husbands today. They are truly your gift from God. Be blessed, my sisters.
