Senior Picture at Memorial Island
Tonight my son marches 12 miles and ends with a cross rifle ceremony. Many of us Army moms are on pins and needles as we pray and worry over their well being and how they will do. This is rigorous. Not everyone makes it. They have been sleep deprived for a week and in the woods doing the last phase of their training. However, if they do make it, they receive the honor of being called Infantrymen. As I write this, I can only wonder if my son has crossed the mark yet. I wonder for the other mothers, as well. I'm praying. They are praying. God be with our young men as they selflessly serve our nation.

What an incredible young man you have raised. I am so proud of him...so proud to say that I know him.
And I absolutely love his heart which wants all the soldiers to receive mail. Such a caring young man.
I have been praying for him...and will continue to do so. I look forward to seeing him receive his infantryman pin!!
Keep on doing these wonderful tributes. They are SO important!!!
Love and hugs,
Patti
What a great tribute.
He has an awesome heart.
Have you heard how Joshua did on the hike?
Count us as praying for your son.
These military tributes are just wonderful.
Joshua is an amazing young man! I can only imagine how very proud you are of him Deb. We need more young people like your son. The Lord is going to use him mightily as He already has. I love to see a person who lives out what they believe. Your Josh is doing just that. God will provide the strength for Josh on the 12 miles. You just watch and pray!
Love you,
Debbie

What an outstanding young man Joshua is...you have every right to be so PROUD of him! I will say a prayer for him and for all his buddies. I know he's going to make it! Keep the faith!

Oh Debra,
This is beautiful and I am sure his mama is so proud of him ....What a gorgeous tribute to a brave soldier.
Love,

What a handsome young man.. and blessing over him, and thank him for what he does for us and this nation.
that is a great picture of the two of you.. you must be very proud...
What a beautiful tribute to your son! He sounds like a remarkable young man. I can only imagine the concern you must carry, as his Mumma. It is hard letting go of our children, entrusting them to the care of the Lord... but thankfully, even in that, He is there to help us do just that. I have struggled with this re life in general, as my son is not in the armed forces... just letting go so they can make their own way in life, can be a challenge in itself. Yours must be doublely challenging.
Blessings to you!
