Thankful Thursday

Thursday's are the day we link up with Iris at Grace Alone and share the things we are thankful for. The theme this week is praise.

I am thankful and I praise the Lord for this time of year where we can be mindful that the King of Kings stepped down from the Heavenly realms and became a baby because of His great love for us. I know I can never truly comprehend it, but I am eternally grateful.

I am thankful and I praise the Lord for my husband, children and my family. The sound of laughter is plentiful and it warms my heart.

I am thankful and I praise the Lord for my church home. The sounds of praise to my King on Sunday morning are beautiful and encouraging. I love that the worship team incorporates an older hymn into the service.

I am thankful and I praise the Lord for encouraging words from my sweet sisters. I am amazed at the outpouring of prayer support and love when I am not feeling well. The blog community is truly a great community.

Blessings to you today!!

I loved reading your thankful list. I love some of the old hymns too. I've found the blogging community to be such a support too. I feel like I really know many people even though I've not seen them face to face ...yet. That includes you, Debra. I'm thankful for you!

Ditto sweet sister on your list of thanksgiving! We truly have an awesome God, incredible families He's blessed us with and we have a FABULOUS church family we are so grateful for!

I stopped by to see how you were feeling today? I'm still praying for you. I know your migraine was still being a nuisance yesterday, so I wanted to see if it decided it has overstayed it's welcome and left? :-)

I love you sweet sister,
Sunny

Beautiful list of "thankfuls" today, Debra. I am also very thankful for a wonderful, loving church home and church family. We incorporate a hymn in our praise and worship time too. I love the choruses but I was raised on good ole hymns and I still love them.

I am thankful for all my bloggy sistas...each one of you make such a beautiful bouquet of flowers in my life...sweet aroma of praise and encouragement.

May God continue to bless you!

What wonderful reasons to be thankful and to give praise. I agree, this wonderful time of year is the annual reminder of the Glory Jesus left behind for a time so that He could be born as a baby and one day die for His people. We NEED this annual reminder.

I'm so glad that miserable migraine has eased up and that you're feeling better. Hope your day is blessed.

hugs,
Patti
