Weariness

I've heard it in so many conversations and in people's voices these past few days. Weariness.

My beloved read to me from 1 Timothy this morning and then we read our Proverb of the day ~ Proverbs 18:10 " The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe".

If you are weary ... run to the Lord. He is your strong tower.

Blessings to you today!

RYC: It so touched me. I so understand. Hugs to you. Christ knows your heart...He is greater than your own conscience...nothing like the prayers of a mother...they are so powerful. He is faithful. Praying with you!

These are great verses of encouragement. It is easy to feel overloaded this time of year.

I,too, was reminded of that song. Now I've got it going in my head. I am so thankful to have Him to run too!

It is so easy to feel overloaded--especially if we are being pulled in many directions--shopping, baking, wrapping--all the traditions of CHRISTmas.

I am trying to keep my focus on the meaning of CHRISTmas, Jesus being born to bring us light into this world, sent from Heaven by God so that we could see a living example of how we are to live and conduct our lives.

And a side note to Alicia--the song is "Made Me Glad" by Hillsongs.

You are so faithful! I pray that those feeling weary will in deed turn to God for strength. He is in control and though we may not understand now why we struggle His plan for us in the end is always better than our own. I have proof of that each time I look at my beautiful baby girl. God Bless You Deb!

I sense both weariness and anger. I've seen two different conflicts in person while I've been out and about. Bad words and everything. It's sad.

Thanks for the hope!

I was looking for your blog post yesterday on Thankful Thursday. I hope you weren't too weary. But I'm glad to read your post and the reminder.

I felt this way a lot during the end of the election period. After I voted early I had had enough with all the talk and lies. I was getting weary even being around Christian friends who just seem to be so anxious and not trusting.
This verse reminded me WHO I can always run to in times like these!
Thank you!
