I am thankful for Proverbs 18:10 "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe" ... this brings me tremendous comfort today. I am going to my cardiologist today. This was the time frame I was given for the beginning medication to end and the new medication to begin. It is always a bit scary for me. My body does not react to new medication well. So I'm counting on my Strong Tower. I'm running to Him...and I know I will find safety there.
I am thankful for my sister, Candy and her family's visit this last Sunday and Monday. We had not seen them in a while and we had missed them terribly. We are extremely close to them and it did our hearts well to be able to hold those boys and love on them. I know I personally got at least a hundred kisses from Brendan and applied the same! Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
I am thankful for my husband coming home early yesterday to accompany me to the grocery store because he knew my head had been hurting me for a couple of days. His lovingkindness towards me always leaves me wondering how I deserved this man. Song of Solomon 1:16 "Behold, you are handsome, my beloved! Yes, pleasant!"
So thank you, Jesus, for all of your mercies, in every form they come. I am truly thankful. Blessings to you, today, my sisters. And ((hugs)) to you!!

God bless you and be with you while you go to the doctors appointment. My grandmother who was strong in her faith held close to her lord and told me that she felt secure with him carrying her burdens. As you write the precious words you placed on your blog I know that you have that feeling as well. You sound as if you have a terrific husband as well. God bless
