In today's world where everyone is trying to be heard, it is refreshing to me to know that I need only open my Bible and sit with my King and let Him speak to me. His Word is truth and speaks so clearly. May it minister to you today.

I love this song, such a blessing.
Amen sweet sister! One of my all time favorites. The Word of God is such a precious, priceless treasure...this song certainly captures that! (I absolutely love those images and scriptures) Beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful song. I had never heard it before. I love the words "please let me stay and rest in your holiness" that is where I long to stay. Resting fully in His holiness. Awesome!

Last night I got my Mom her first Bible - I sat and was writing in it for her. Then I went through and began highlighting the verses that have touched my heart and the word spoke to me even as I was doing this for her - how precious is our God who speaks to us in every moment if we will simply quiet ourselves and listen.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comment. I do hope that you and your family try a "dinner" like the one I posted about. (Do I dare call such unhealthy food dinner?) Anyhow, I am big on celebration-type dinners and try to do them on a semi-regular basis. And World Series time means I've gotta do something fun and exciting and different.
About this post, Mercy Me speaks to my heart in nearly every song. Their music is simply beautiful.
