A man's skin color matters little to me. I would embrace a black president---just not Barack Obama. His policies are abhorrent to God, and therefore to me. I must always choose God over man. Sadly, I do think that many people voted for him not because racism has been erased from our country, but because they HATE George Bush and anything connected with him. I think racism is just as alive and well as it has always been. It is only through the Lord Jesus that it can be erased...and since our nation doesn't honor Jesus, how do we think we can overcome a problem as ugly and deep as racism without his power?
Anyhow, your son is definitely a son to be proud of. It's not easy to stand strong in the face of opposition, especially during the teen years.

I hope your migraines are gone now. I know how bad they can be. My friends hubby has suffered for years. He has stopped eating any food with preservatives. And he is doing better now.
