One of the greatest Bible studies I have ever been to was a topical study where we studied the women of the Bible. The first woman was Eve. You can imagine some of the women's discussions in lighthearted humor talking about "one day, Eve and I are going to have to have a heart to heart"...etc. And be honest, I don't think there is one of us out there who has not thought that at one point or another. But here is the greatest truth I learned from that Bible study: Eve was in the Garden of Eden - she was walking around with the Lord and her husband, Adam. They were at her disposal. All she had to do was call out to them in her moment of weakness and they would have been there. They were her greatest resources. They are still ours.
When we are wounded, tempted, or just plain ill-equipped - call on your husband or your Jesus. Many times we feel like we can handle things and the truth is, we need them. They are our protective canopy. They guard us. I, for one, welcome it and am so grateful for it.
For those of you who are not married, call out to Jesus. He cares about you. He loves you. He will comfort you. He is your greatest Resource! I hope you will listen to the video below. It is another Nicole C. Mullen video - and she is telling us a vital truth in it. "When I call on Jesus...all things are possible"

I would like to thank those dear sisters who took the time to comfort me yesterday. You took the time to fulfill the law of Christ as stated in Galatians 6:2 by "bearing my burden" with me. Thank you for your emails and posts.
Also, I notice that Denise over at Shortybears Place has not been blogging, I'm sure she is not feeling well. Let us all lift her up in prayer and pray for a quick return of the Shortybear Dance!
Galatians 6:18 "Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, Amen"

come back and share so wonderfully.
I join you in prayer. I noticed that Denise has not been there also so I was praying for her but thank you for sharing this in such a loving way! I love her Shortbear dance and missed her so I went to see...usually she posts she needs
a break! Lord, Be with our sister Denise in whatever she is facing!
Strengthen her, love her, restore
her health and help her in Jesus

He loves you so, and I am blessed to read His message through you.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I noticed Denise's absence too. Have sent e-mails etc... Praying all is well. Your blog somehow didn't get on my list, but it is now and I will be back.
I am so happy that yesterday's painful experience turned into a beautiful way of sharing God's word for you. I for one am one that benefitted from it even though I'm sorry you had to suffer such pain in the process. Thank you for sharing such a eye opening thought/reflection of Eve and her walk with Adam and God.
There's something for you at my place. Come on over and see.
Thank God that He is our strength and shield. Glad that you are feeling better and God has used many people to minister to you. You are never alone! Thank God that He is with us and He sends His love and encouragements through His Words, His Spirit and people around us :) Praise Him! Thank you for all your encouragements to me too. Take care and may God fills you with His love, peace and joy as you look to Him.
