Thankful Thursday

**Today I am thankful that I woke up to seeing my husband studying God's Word and he was so excited to share it with me! He said "I'm finished with Acts, babe!" Can there be a better start to your morning? I submit, there cannot!

**Today I am thankful for those people who have selflessly gone to Texas to help those in need. The pictures that I have seen of the rescues have truly touched my heart. Thank God for people who are trained in these areas and thank God for their families who stand in the wings and pray for them.

**Today I am thankful for the provisions that surround me. A home, a Bible, a full pantry!

**Today I am thankful for the greeting of a precious son who is cheerful. His first question "Ready for our devotions?" Yes!

**Today I am thankful that the lake outside my window looks peaceful and is a reminder that God places beauty all around us to give us comfort and to show us He is ever present.

Wow that is a wonderful way to start your day!Go Hubby! I also think that gazing upon a lake is very peaceful. Thank you for your kind words today and I will tell my husband that what I said was true about the pressure point and that maybe he should try again lol.
Blessings to you.

I'm with you. This has been a hard week for me but your scripture says exactly what I needed to hear and be reminded of. God is my refuge and my strength. Only He can take away my pain. Thank you for your kind kind words on my post this morning and always.

What a beautiful list! Yay for the honey too! Doesn't that just make a wife's heart take a deep breath in and a deep breath out... a man that loves Jesus is such a security and a rock! Love that!

Hi Debra, My hubby just recently finished Acts as well. What a blessing it is to see our men in the Word!

I will pass on your comment to Denise tomorrow (Friday) when I talk with her.

And thank you for your faithful prayers for me and my family this week. I'm still in recovery mode. The doctor added an antibiotic into the mix today. Hopefully this will clear out my lung.

Have a blessed weekend.

Blessed morning Debra...How wonderful is that: a husband that's read through Acts and a son ready for devotions! Can't get any better! Praise the Lord! Thank you Debra for remembering all the people reaching out in Texas and lifting them in prayer! What a precious heart of gratitude for your provisions! Bless you that
your Bible & your pantry are full
of goodness that you can thank Our Lord for the beauty of serenity on a lake & His glorious creation! Indeed HE is Our Refuge. May He continue to strength you as He restores and erases that which was meant for harm and brings about His
goodness! Thank you for sharing a
beautiful expression of an attitude of gratitude in all that He surrounds you with...thanks for adding me on your sidebar! Enjoy your TT posts & have a Friday that rocks with a wonderful husband & son! May you enjoy the wonders of God this weekend!
